When the money factory closed in Whangarei in 1990 we received bags of tiny pieces of decommissioned NZ currency notes. We mix these minute pieces in the baths with pulp resulting in one of our best selling papers!
All paper made at The Papermill has been handmade from recycled and/or plant fibres. There are no chemicals used in the process.
